Super Solar power

Solar Energy

Solar power is produced by collecting sunlight and converting it into electricity. This is done by using solar panels, which are large flat panels made up of many individual solar cells. It is most often used in remote locations, although it is becoming more popular in urban areas as well.

Yuma, Arizona

Yuma is located in western Arizona near the borders with Mexico and California, is the only place on earth confirmed to absorb in more than 4000 hours of sunshine a year. Tennant Creek, Northern Territory gets a average of  3569 hours of sunlight a yaer. thst is around 9.8 hours daily. The Australian continent has the highest solar radiation per square meter of any continent and consequently some of the best solar energy resource in the world.
