OSHS Honored as GreatSchools 2019 College Success Award Winner
OSHS is pleased to announce that we have been chosen as a "GreatSchools.org 2019 College Success Award Winner"!
The College Success Award recognizes and celebrates high schools like ours that go beyond simply getting our students to graduation and also focus on ensuring students are prepared to succeed in college.
OSHS is one of 1,722 schools in 25 states across the country to be honored with the Award, which is based on data about how our school prepares students to succeed after high school, including whether they enroll in college, are ready for college-level coursework when they get there and persist into their second year. See the full list of winners from Florida and watch videos of National Spotlight Schools to learn about other promising practices at high schools across the country at https://www.greatschools.org/gk/csa-winners/.
We applaud the hard work of the entire Orlando Science community—including students, parents, teachers, and others that aspire to help our students succeed in college and beyond. Congratulations on receiving the College Success Award!
