  • Building Interactive Digital Notebook Activities (Elementary)
  • Building Interactive Digital Notebook Activities (Secondary)

Creating interactive digital assignments can feel overwhelming for even the most technically competent teachers. In this workshop, teachers will be guided through several styles of activities as well as how to design, create, and assign through their own through Google Classroom.

  • Beyond the Red Pen

Providing students with timely feedback is vital for their progress. Never more so than during this time of distance learning. In this session, you will learn to offer feedback for your students using G Suite and other free tools to meet the differentiated in your classroom.

  • Best Practices for Digital Learning

As teachers transition from traditional face-to-face instruction to blended or virtual instruction, they may need some guidance on how to collect work, take attendance, and provide feedback. In this session, teachers will learn what we think are best practices for digital learning using easy to use, accessible tools. We will also explore must-have extensions that will add functionality to any digital or blended classroom activities.

  • Tips and Tricks for All My Chromies

Have you ever watched in awe as someone seamlessly navigated Google, swiftly duplicating objects, formatting text, and changing the appearance as quickly as a skilled magician? Join us for all the latest tips, tricks, shortcuts and hacks for Chrome.

  • Break Away from Boring with Digital Escape Activities

Student engagement can be a tall order in an asynchronous, distance learning setting. Using Google Forms, teachers can craft clever digital activities to challenge students to "escape-the-room" by unlocking virtual locks. You will learn some of the more advanced features of Google Forms you can use to craft conditional learning experiences that are sure to engage your brightest of minds.

  • Designing Self-Paced Learning Activities with Google Tools (Click Click Boom)

Self-guided activities are perfect for distance or blended learning. Teachers can design self-paced learning modules with Google Slides to help students gain background knowledge, develop vocabulary, think through processes, as well as analyze selected texts or problems. Participants with basic understanding of Google Slides will learn how to elevate their synchronous teaching strategies to meet the needs of their asynchronous classrooms.

  • Clone Yourself & Multiply the Learning with Screencasting

Screencasting is a generic name for the technique of recording your screen along with your voice. This technique has become the standard for teaching technical skills or giving directions to anyone, anywhere. With a host of free tools available to create professional looking, informative screencasts that students or colleagues can use to learn, this has become a technique every teacher (or teacher of teachers) will love! Whether it's a necessary task with lots of steps or directions for students, reaching out to connect with your students during social distancing, or for your students to show you what they know, learning how to screencast will open a WORLD of possibilities!
