Tiger Tail Seahorse

The tiger tail seahorse is found in the western central Pacific Ocean.They live in coral reefs, sponge beds, and sea grass beds.

Why is it endangered?

The tiger Tail Seahorse is endangered because of its habitat loss and because of humans polluting the water.They are also endangered because in China they are used for a traditional medicine.


Their diet is small fish,coral,small shrimp and plankton.They get their food by using their mouth as a little vacuum and blow out the water but keep the food.


The Tiger Tail Seahorse wraps its tail around small underwater weeds or plants and stay there for a while.
