CoGat Testing
As part of the district wide identification process for Vision 21
services, WPS will be administering the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) to all 2nd and 4th graders between September 16 and October 23. Students in 3rd and 5th grade who are new to the district will also be given the CogAT during this time. Specific testing dates will be determined by each building. Please make every effort to have your child attend
school during the testing days.
Results from the CogAT tests will be used as one of the multiple information sources to identify students who will most likely benefit from the Vision 21/Gifted and Talented program. Student identification will be finalized and parents will have access to their child's results through Skyward Family Access by December 2.
