Weeks 13 & 14 - 11/22/2019
Week 13 & 14 - Coming up on Thanksgiving Break!
This week saw some seriously hair-raising learning here at MPMS! For our final newsletter of November, I have a request for our parents and students. Next week, in the spirit of thanksgiving, please send a quick note (handwritten or email) to a teacher with a thought about what you are most thankful for this school year. Talk with you children, write it together, or write it independently - a surprise note or two of thanks will be a very appreciated gesture for our staff.
Reminder: Next week is a two day week featuring the home opener for our Girls Basketball team on Tuesday night at 5 pm. School will be closed on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. I hope all of our MPMS family has an opportunity to enjoy some time with family and friends enjoying good food and good company!
Upon our return to school in December (wow - December already!) there are a couple big events coming up with our Choir Concerts on December 4th and 5th and Band Concerts on December 10th and 11th. Come out and check out the fine performances and hard work of our students at one or all of these events!

Even if you're not sure if your favorite teacher meets all the criteria, let me know! I'm happy to dig into any nomination to see if they could possibly be our building or division winner.

Crossing Guards are an integral part of the team that gets your children to school safely each day. Please note that crossing guards are at their posts beginning at 6:30 am each school morning.
