A Few RAMblings

Welcome to December as we head towards the close of our extraordinary 2020. I hope that this finds you and your family doing well.

Beginning on January 5th, 2021, it will be expected that students will have their cameras on to ensure attendance and engagement. Students will start all classes with cameras on, teachers may have students turn them off during screen sharing and direct instruction, but all students will again have the cameras on at the end of class to ensure accurate participation. If any families have extenuating circumstances or need support with this, please feel free to call the office at 925 256-0791 or email me directly at mccormickt@mdusd.org. Thank you for your support!

December 16th Q & A

As a staff, we continue to meet and discuss ways to keep students engaged and learning. With distance instruction, the home becomes critical in student success and communication is a priority. On Wednesday, December 16th, we are going to hold three, one-hour long drop in sessions for Question and Answer. We are asking that questions be emailed ahead of time to ensure that the key staff members are prepared. Please email all questions to sprecherc@mdusd.org and include grade level in the subject line. These are for general questions and information. If you would like more information on your child in a specific class, please email the teacher or drop-in to one of their office hours as can be seen in the Distance Learning Schedule below.
