COVID update from Dallas ISD
Dallas ISD published this information regarding Covid guidelines. We will continue to communicate updates as we have them. If families have further questions, Nurse Dunlap will be available to answer questions at Meet the Teacher.
At Dealey, we strongly encourage all families to do as much as they can to keep our community safe. We did an incredible job last year with health and safety protocols. I am confident that, working together, we will continue to stay safe and healthy.
Meet the Teacher
Everyone is invited to come to Dealey on August 12 from 5:00-7:00 to meet the teacher. Please see this flyer for more information.
5:00-5:30 PreK-3 Families will meet in the auditorium (or Zoom) with Ms. Wing, Ms. Winners, and Nurse Dunlap
5:30-6:00 4-8 Families will meet in the auditorium (or Zoom) with Ms. Wing, Ms. Winners, and Nurse Dunlap
Online Registration
This must be completed every year. Please visit this site for assistance or call the office between 8-4 Monday through Friday.
School Hours
Our school hours changed last year. Please see details:
First bell at 8:15, tardy bell at 8:20 and end at 3:55 . We will keep a staggered dismissal with the primary starting to dismiss 3:35, LE and UE starting to dismiss 3:40, and the MS starting to dismiss 3:45. We use the extra minutes at the end of the day to organize and clean up.
Transportation
Please register your child if you need transportation. Use this link to register and get route information for Magnet programs.
MS Schedules
The schedules that you see in Powerschool have not been updated. Please understand that we are still making changes to be sure students have the courses that they need/requested and to balance the classes. The final schedules will be provided on August 12 at Meet the Teacher.
