Shakespeare and Autism Project

The Ohio State University’s Shakespeare and Autism Project is offering FREE weekly one-hour workshops for children with autism. The workshops employ the Hunter Heartbeat
Method, play-based intervention using drama games that focus on core features of autism.

ADHD Academy: Behavior Management

Why are behavioral strategies helpful? What are some effective behavioral strategies for ADHD? What are other important resources? Join us as we explore these and other questions, as well as behavioral treatments and how they may help the child with ADHD be successful.

Behavioral Issues During Puberty and Beyond

Together in Motion Yoga
Together in Motion is a unique yoga program geared toward those touched by autism and other special needs. Individuals and their families will be educated on the benefits of yoga; lifelong skills that can be incorporated into everyday life. You will receive a mat if this is your first time!

Wonderfully intuitive and easy-to-use, Read&Write for Google Chrome provides personalized support to make documents, web pages and common file types more accessible. It’s designed to help everyone engage with digital content in a way that suits his/her abilities and learning styles. Read&Write offers a range of powerful support tools to help your child gain confidence with reading, writing, studying and research. This is an interactive training so adults attending should bring a computer. Presentation for guardians of students in the district only please.
