From The Desk of Mrs. Doyle
Dear Peter Noyes Families,
Welcome to May! This is one of the most exciting and also BUSY times of the school year. We can all be a little frazzled with so much on our plates. This goes for students, staff, and families. It’s a great time to give ourselves and each other a little grace.
Teacher Appreciation Week, May 8-12
This is a wonderful time to thank a teacher or staff member during Teacher Appreciation Week. Receiving heartfelt words of appreciation are truly meaningful to everyone, but especially those in education. Consider encouraging your children to write a sweet note of thanks to someone who makes a difference at Noyes. A HUGE THANK YOU to the PTO and all our parents for the special events and treats planned for next week to honor our teachers and staff. We can’t wait!
New Clevertouch Boards Thanks to PTO!
Speaking of thanking PTO….we are thrilled to share that we were able to purchase 7 new clevertouch interactive boards!!! These were recently installed in 2 second grade classrooms, all 4 first grade classrooms, as well as the library. This means that all of our K-5 classrooms have interactive LED boards, many of which were purchased thanks to the generosity of the PTO. THANK YOU!!

A Special Note from the Math Department
We have a new SPS Community Math website! This site is updated with activities, puzzles, links, and information about our math program. As we introduce the new site, we are also launching our first SPS Mathematicians' Challenge. This challenge will take place during the month of May and is available for all grade levels. It can be completed online or with paper. Check it out on the site or ask your building Math Coach how to participate. We look forward to seeing your mathematical thinking and creativity!
We hope you have a glorious spring weekend with your family.
Warmly,
Annette Doyle
We are out of Kleenex in the office! Any donations are welcome!
