Infant Intelligence

Increasing Intelligence

Talking: The amount of words your children hears is directly related to their verbal intelligence.
Reading: Books can also help with literacy.
Breastfeeding: Children who were breastfed usually do better on mental tests than those who were not.
Snuggling: Holding your child and making eye contact will promote more learning because they develop the want to communicate with others.

Emotion drives learning. A child's emotional and social development usually starts with an attachment to parents and caregivers, but that attachment also is helpful to intelligence.

A babies mind is like a sponge and is rapidly growing all the time. Taking prenatal vitamins and eating healthy during pregnancy can help with babies IQ just as breastfeeding will. Your children should also eat healthy while their bodies and brains are developing to make the maximum amount of intelligence increase as possible.
