Attached are the informational packet that contains our General Info, Meeting Schedule, First Nighter, College Night Flyers and Registration Form.
Northwest Missouri Area Health and Education Center is partnered with Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, MO. The program is designed for students that are interested in healthcare careers. They offer once a month workshops where they highlight a different health career.
They have professionals from these areas come and speak about what they do on a daily basis, their education they received and do some hands-on activities related to that particular career with the students.
These workshops are open to any high school or undergraduate student and there is no cost to attend. Most of the workshops will take place at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. Attached is the 2019-2020 Pipeline calendar for those interested in attending.

Fall Musical Auditions
Are you ready to "Cut Loose" for the PCHS Fall Musical Footloose!? One of the most explosive rock 'n' roll movie musicals in recent memory will burst onto the stage this November here at Platte County! When Ren and his mother move from Chicago to a small farming town, Ren isn’t prepared for a ban on dancing. "Footloose" follows his journey with his peers to celebrate the wisdom of listening to young people, guiding them with a warm heart and an open mind, as well as putting your feet on the ground to dance your heart out!
Auditions are Sept 9 & 10 from 3:00-6:00 with callbacks on Thursday, Sept 12 from 3:00-6:00 in Wilson Auditorium. Informational meetings for auditions and to receive paperwork will be on Tuesday, Sept 3 at 7 am and Wednesday, Sept 4 at 3:00 pm in room 45. More information can be found at pchstheatre.com. See Mrs. Glidewell for questions in room 45.

Professional Learning Community (PLC) Early Release
On Wednesday, September 11, students will be released two hours early for our first Professional Learning Community(PLC) day of the 2019-20 school year. PLC days are designed to establish sustained and uninterrupted time for teachers to work together and collaborate to improve student learning and achievement. This time allows educators to examine and respond to the four basic fundamental questions of a Professional Learning Community:
- What is it we want students to learn?
- How will we know when each student has achieved the learning?
- How will we respond when a student is not learning?
- How will we respond when we know a child has mastered the learning?
For more information on PCR-3's Professional Learning Community, visit the PLC page on the district's website.

Bullying and Safety Concerns
Safety is one of our district’s top priorities and to help safeguard our school community, our district is now using SafeSchools Alert, a tip reporting service that allows students, staff, and parents to submit safety concerns to our administration.
You and your child can easily report tips on bullying, harassment, or any safety issue you're concerned about through SafeSchools Alert.
Every tip SafeSchools Alert receives about our district is immediately logged in the system and our administration is notified so that they can investigate and take appropriate action. And, tips may also be submitted anonymously if you prefer.
Together, using SafeSchools Alert, we can make our district a safer place to learn!
