Purdue Northwest Express Admit Day!
ATTENTION SENIORS!
An admissions representative from Purdue University Northwest will be in the Counseling Office next Thursday, February 9th doing on-site admissions.
You will meet with the PNW representative briefly to fill out your application and have any questions answered. Also, if you have already started an application online, the representative will be more than happy to help you finish it! They will tell you right then and there if you have been accepted or not! Did we mention that the application fee is waived?
If you are interested, please sign up in the Counseling Office by Wednesday, February 8th. Spots are limited! Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity!
Adolescent Brain Development
Your brain begins to change in the back of your brain, in the parts of the brain that control your senses, vision and physical movement. The front part of your brain, the parts associated with planning, emotional control, and problem-solving develop last.
This video does a great job of explaining how your brain is developing and this article also offers some insights.
Selective Service
Almost all male US citizens and male immigrants, who are 18 through 25, are required to register with Selective Service (draft). If you do not register, your FAFSA will not be processed! To learn more, click on this link that will take you to Frequently Asked Questions.
