WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW???
AUTHOR OF THE MONTH
Decorey Hale is our featured author of the month. His first published book, Ebenezer The Sneezer, is a short rhyming book that was written for his daughter Nylah. Decorey wrote the book as a bed time story for her because she loved books so much. The inspiration behind the story is that Nylah suffered with allergies when she was young. He wanted to write a book that she could relate to and show that it’s ok to be different. Decorey traveled over 2 hours one way to be a part of our monthly book give away. Decorey donated 25 copies of his book to the Read’n Roll and his story was read to all 450 students. We are so thankful for people (authors) like Decorey who give back to the community. Decorey is doing amazing things in and outside of his community. Follow him on Facebook, Instagram, and visit Decoreyhale.com to pick up a copy of Ebenezer The Sneezer today!

Read 'N Roll
Kindness is the currency for students to receive books from our Bookmobile! For the month of November, the Students at Beecher Hills Elementary completed 517 acts of kindness to purchase their books for December! We are so proud of these kind kids and they definitely earned their books.

SHARE YOUR STORY
The purpose of the Share Your Story program is to inspire kids to write their own stories. We believe that everyone has a story that is worth sharing! Riley and over 400 of his peers were given a blank book to write their own story in hopes of getting them professionally illustrated. There were so many awesome stories and it was so hard to choose just one! Riley’s book, “The Farmer’s Rabbit Problem”, will be the first book we will professionally illustrate! We are so proud of Riley and his accomplishments! His book will be illustrated and published by the end of the year! We will let you know where you can buy a copy of his book when it's completed.
