Higher than the Clouds

Eagles
The Eagles are a very dear and interesting special species, with their 7.5 ft. wingspan (Eagle Center), they hover over the clouds when it rains, they can see a small part of a gray carp shimmering from the sun, the Bald Eagle empowers Americanism in everyone from their blinding glare to soaring across the sky landing gracefully feeding their offspring. Unfortunately, with so much power and beauty, there's a cost, the population has since declined.
Higher than the sky
Higher than the storm
With its loud cry
It reaches the entire sky
The bald eagle cannot die
With its brink of extinction
Led many to a shock
By being the national bird
In 1782
I love this country
As should you
But don’t kill me
Which is very blue
My love goes out to Philly
With a team named after me
Looking into their eyes put you in a trance
Just with one glance
His brown feathers are brown as the dirt
His talon sure hurt
Swoosh as he strikes his dinner
All you see is the fish bones they leave behind
The American Bird, National treasure, the icon of fourth of July
All names that exemplify the bald eagle
But it’s so much more
Risking their life to catch prey
Not only can they fly above the clouds but also
Float on water
All you hear is plop in water he goes
So sad we almost lost you we truly treasure you
America is only America with its freedom flying bird
The bald eagle
