Saint
Here you see can Martin Luther trying to help the church become more loyal to the bible and God by nailing his 95 theses to the church door. This makes him a saint because he is spreading what he believes to help benefit the church.
Saint
These are Martin Luther's original thoughts of what is going wrong in the Catholic Church, these are called the 95 Theses and were used to spread his ideas of how to improve the Catholic Church. His ideas helped the church to realize what they were doing wrong.
Saint
Martin Luther spreading his ideas to the everyday person, this would help people realize the wrongs the church is doing and how they can make it better. This idea of helping people realize what is wrong makes him a saint.
Saint
The church door that Luther nailed his 95 theses too, represents the religion that he knew and loved and fought for to make things right for everyone, making him a saint.
Saint
This picture of an indulgence represents the long battle Luther fought with them, the idea of paying off your sins is not very faithful and Luther spent his life trying to get people to realize this. Him devoting his time to making things right for everyone makes him a saint.
Saint
This image represents Luther's faith and relationship with God, God used Luther to accomplish great things through him and this image represents this. Since God used Luther to make things right, he is a saint.
Saint
Martin Luther's most meaningful work was getting the bible printed in the native language, so now everyone could read and memorize the bible. This spread the faith and made it easier for everyone to believe in the scriptures and ideas written in the bible, this made Luther a saint.
Sinner
In this image you can see Luther spreading negative ideas about the Catholic faith. He said that the church does not have the power to save souls and this is a very bad sin during this time.
Sinner
This image represents a pope sad because of the wrong doing he has done, Luther spread the ideas that the Pope and Church are wrong and spreading the wrong ideas. This is a sin because you should not spread negative thoughts about what the pope says or the churches beliefs. Luther said that the Pope was the anarchist sent by the devil. This thought he shared about the Pope makes him a sinner.
Sinner
Luther said that priests have no powers and they are just a human invention and you do not need priests to be connected with God, this is a very bold statement and is a sin to say a negative comment about the rituals and beliefs of the Catholic Church.
Sinner
The printing press allowed Luther to negatively attack the catholic church efficiently. Not only did the printing press allow Luther's sinful ideas to be spread super quickly they also it allowed it to be printed in the native language so everyone could understand. It is easier than ever for Luther to spread his sinful ideas, making him a sinner.
Sinner
Martin Luther's 95 theses could also be seen as a sin. The ideas of calling the church out on everything they are doing wrong and posting them in public, spreads the negative aspects of the church. Spreading negative ideas is very sinful, making Martin Luther a sinner.
Sinner
Luther's protests led to many different spin offs of religions and religious beliefs. This image of different types of worshipers represents the controversy and different opinions that Luther started. His theses, ideas, and writings created the foundation for many different religions. This makes him a sinner because he went against his own religion causing other people to realize that they believe different things, which founded new religions.
