Thankful
As Thanksgiving is right around the corner, I wanted to take a minute to share how thankful I am for Great Lakes. Three of my four children are in school at Great Lakes and my wife and I are so very thankful for the love, support and education they are getting from their teachers. Great Lakes is filled with teachers who continue to go above and beyond to meet the needs of their students. I am thankful for that.
I am also very thankful for the over 500 students who attend Great Lakes on a daily basis. These students are the fabric of who we are as a school and I feel grateful to be a small part of their educational journey.
Finally, I am thankful to all of the parents and guardians who trust us, the staff at Great Lakes with your most prized posession(s) on a daily basis. This is not a profession we take lightly and we will continue to do all we can to ensure that all students leave Great Lakes as king, caring and inquiring learers who are ready to tackle middle school.
My best,
Mr. Stefanich
Happy Thanksgiving

I Am Love
My wife, Mrs. Stefanich, recently shared this picture book with me and it is fantastic. It is quick read but a powerful one!

Volunteers Needed
Parents, we are in desperate need of volunteers for our December Book Fair. The Book Fair will run from December 2nd through December 5th. Please consider helping out at the Book Fair. This is an incredible event for our students, but we really need your help to support this event moving forward. Please contact Cynthia in the front office if you are interested in helping.
