MHS Happenings
Week of April 10th
From the Principal
Next week will be our third week of Remote Learning; we hope that it is getting easier as everyone adjusts to this ‘new normal’. We want to know how we are doing, so please complete the survey below so that we can better serve you during this crazy time.
We will have one more opportunity to distribute paper packets and laptops. Distribution will be Thursday, April 9th, from 2-4. If your student is already on the list, we will have their stuff ready for pick up. If your student is not on the list and needs a laptop or paper packet, please email their grade level administrator with your request.
We will send information out next week about the district grading guidelines during remote learning. These guidelines will begin Wednesday April 8, so please don’t worry if your student has struggled with this transition. We are committed to accommodating every student and every situation to ensure that all our students get credit during this time.
Sincerely,
Brandi Hendrix

Things you can do to support yourself during Social distancing:
Take breaks from watching, reading, or listening to news stories, including social media. Hearing about the pandemic repeatedly can be upsetting.
Take care of your body. Take deep breaths and stretch. Try to eat healthy, well-balanced meals, exercise regularly, and get plenty of sleep.
Make time to unwind. Try to do some other activities you enjoy.
Connect with others. Talk with people you trust about your concerns and how you are feeling.
Call your healthcare provider if stress gets in the way of your daily activities for several days in a row.
