How to keep your teeth clean

It is important to look after your baby teeth and your permanent teeth. Keeping your teeth, gums and mouth clean and healthy can prevent disease and infection, and can help to avoid pain and sickness. Also a clean healthy mouth feels nice, looks good and keeps your breath fresh. Choose a wide variety of healthy foods every day. Remember to drink lots of water instead of drinking unhealthy drinks. Do not share a toothbrush as, if you do you will spread germs. Use dental floss, dental floss cleans between your teeth and takes out all of the plaque, bacteria........ If you eat to much junk food or food that has sugar, you will get cavities.

Brushing teeth

BRUSHING is IMPORTANT! You need to brush your teeth every day. Remember to brush all of your teeth, not just the front teeth. Remember if you have permanent teeth (which are the teeth that come after the teeth that fall out and stay forever) you need to brush your teeth more because they won't fall out and if you eat too much junk food or foods full of sugar you will get cavities.
