Connections Notes for ALL Levels:
- They still have time to get grades up by report cards.
- See teachers about extra help if they need it. ALL teachers have extra help time.
- Check attendance on your progress report for accuracy. Note: You only have 5 absences in semester courses and 10 in year long courses. Parent notes count against your days.

September 18- SIGNING DAY for 504s and ESOL plans in Mrs. Justice's Outer Office During Planning (Folders were prepared for you to complete at SLO training. Since the training is being rescheduled, it will be SUPER FAST. YAY!!)
September 18- College Fair Trip (List will be sent out of junior and senior participants)- Students receive passes in 1st period and head to the bus at the end of 1st period bell.
September 18-22- PSAT sign-ups for Juniors in guidance ($16)

504 and ESOL Signing Day- September 18
RESCHEDULED FROM SEPT.12 DUE TO WEATHER---Ok, ok, it's not National Signing Day but it's "signing day" none the less. Come by Mrs. Justice's office onMonday, September 18 during planning to sign for your 504s and ESOL plans. Your signature will indicate that you have received the information, so make sure you know who you have with plans.

Open Enrollment for Insurance Coverage (through October 31, 2017) – Open Enrollment will begin at locations throughout the district on 09/18/2017. Scheduling information for Open Enrollment meetings has been sent to each school/location. Due to Affordable Care Act compliance, all eligible employees, including new hires and working retirees, must attend a meeting with a Ward Services counselor to document the offer of health insurance coverage. To prepare for your individual meeting, click HERE for the Open Enrollment Highlights document. Ward Services has also prepared a video overview. SmartFind System - If you are having issues logging into the SmartFind System you need to “register” and reset your password. To register call 864-422-2300 (corrected phone number). When asked for your Access ID enter your GCS employee number and then the * key. Then enter your PIN # - your employee number and the * key. Record your name and hit * key. Enter 1 to accept or 2 to re-record name. System will state your location and job classification. ENTER A NEW SIX DIGIT PIN NUMBER AND HIT * KEY. Enter 1 to accept or 2 to enter a different PIN #. Hit 9 to exit the system. .
