CCA is excited to provide an opportunity to collect feedback from you regarding our teachers and the school environment. The Teacher Feedback data is used to provide feedback to teachers and is part of their performance evaluation done by the Executive Director and Assistant Principals. The Climate portion of the survey contains questions about the CCA administration team, school communication, academic instruction, school safety, and other aspects of the CCA environment. Responses from the Climate portion are reviewed by the School Accountability Committee, CCA administration, and the CCA Parent Board to guide future improvements to our school. The survey should not take longer than 20 minutes to complete. In exchange for your feedback, you are allowed to enter 2 hours of volunteer time. As a parent-involved charter school, this is your chance to help provide both positive and constructive feedback for CCA teachers, the administration, and the Parent Board. Note that the survey is intended to be filled out by parents, not students. The survey will be available until midnight on January 24, 2023: https://bit.ly/CCA_survey_2022_2023

• Our school spelling bee team has been selected. These students will represent Cherry Creek Academy at the district level on January 27, 2023.

  Since our announcement about spelling bee in the Eagle in mid-November, students have been practicing on Tuesdays and Fridays before school. Selection for the district team was based on attendance at these meetings and performance on a written test.

Parents, each year we put together a slideshow video of our 8th graders and show it at graduation. We are asking that you please fill out this form in order to submit a baby/young child photo of your 8th grader and a current photo of them to be shared at graduation. Parents, with the weather getting colder we would really like to limit the length of time students are outside waiting to get into their cars. We need your help! Parents coming early to pick up your child is becoming more and more of a problem causing a lot of traffic. Pick-up times and locations will not change even if your oldest student is sick or in an after school activity. You will continue to pick up for student(s) at the same time and location throughout the year. If you have any questions about this, please contact Sadie (303-779-8988). Please see the times listed below and adhere to the pick up times and locations. If you show up earlier than your pick up time you may be asked to move out of line and come back.

Kindergarten - 3:00 - Front lot (Caley)

2nd grade - 3:15 - Front lot (Caley) - Please do not arrive before 3:10!

4th grade - 3:15 - Front lot (Caley) - Please do not arrive before 3:10!

8th grade - 3:35 - Front lot (Caley) - Please do not arrive before 3:10!

1st grade - 3:10 - Back lot (North lot)

3rd grade - 3:15 - Please do not arrive before 3:15!
