Knightly News
Regency Place Elementary School -- May 11, 2023
Thank you to Coach Rech for planning our hugely successful Field Day. As he said, "This is the Super Bowl of PE for the year," and the kids loved it. Be sure to head to our Facebook page to see pictures!
As we move closer and closer to the end of the school year, there is a tendency to see an uptick in behavior issues. It would help us a lot if you remind your child of the expectations you have of them and their behavior on campus. As always, you are our partner in your child's education and we thank you for supporting us.
Over the next few weeks, there will be a lot of events taking place. Please be sure to follow the calendar and look for any notices from your child's teachers or the school. Our Facebook page is also a useful tool for staying up to date!
Please spread the word and thank you for helping us give a voice to every child! Join Regency Place PTA
Thank you for sharing your children with us.

Knight Lunch Visitor Guidelines
- When enjoying lunch on campus with your Knight, you will be eating together in our courtyard. You may bring in lunch or purchase your lunch from the cafeteria. Food may not be brought in for other Knights. * School age siblings are not allowed per NEISD policy. *
- Once you have signed in at the Front Office and have your “Lunch Visitor” badge, wait for your Knight in the “Parent Lunch-Time Waiting Zone” - just inside the glass doors leading out to the gym.
- If you need to enter the cafeteria to purchase a lunch tray, you may join your Knight and make your way back to the courtyard to enjoy the lunch you bought. ** Only your Knight can join you in the Courtyard for lunch. **
- Enjoy lunch with your Knight in the courtyard. Students may not be on electronic devices during lunch. Also, taking pictures or videos of your Knight with other Knights is not permitted.
- Once you are done with lunch, please say goodbye to your Knight in the foyer. Walking to another location in the building without prior consent is not permitted.

Are you a Regency Place dad, granddad, or other father figure who’d like to be a positive male role model in your child’s school?
We Need You!
The Watch D.O.G.S. Program is a father involvement initiative with the goal of organizing fathers and father figures in order to provide positive male role models for the students. Help us enhance our school security, become a hero of our castle hallways and make a difference in the lives of our Knights!
We love and appreciate our Watch D.O.G.S. Volunteers!
If you have a question or would like more information, please contact Analisa Barrera, Family Specialist, Dora Perez, School Counselor, or Dawn Fontana, Librarian.
We Need You - Join PTA Today!
We are off to a GREAT start with our PTA membership! Last year we only had 111 members at the end of the year. This year, we are just finishing the first two weeks of school and already have 159 members. 🎉
Did you know parents, students, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, and others can also join our PTA? Our goal is one membership per student and our enrollment is currently at 445 students. Help us make our goal by signing up today!

Please have your student join us for a nutritious and delicious meal in the cafeteria starting on August 10!
Menus can be viewed at School Nutrition / Home (neisd.net) or on the School Café app.
