Weekly Report
Hello everyone! We have had a busy week. We had an unexpected elearning day on Tuesday and are getting back on track. The kids have been pretty good about charging those iPads lately. Keep up the good work!
We are working on some skills and standards for upcoming testing. This is in hopes for filling in some gaps related to learning loss due to the pandemic. We are all trying and doing the best we can. I thank you all for that.
February will be here on Monday and that means we are getting closer to spring. Let's be happy about that! Have a nice weekend.
Mrs. Konyar said to update IOS on ipads over the weekend. If we did it at school, we'd crash the network.
Reading--Our story is called Energy Island. Our target skills will be point of view, text structure, making inferences, text and graphic features, and suffixes. We will have a quiz on Friday.
Math-- We are going to shift gears and work on fractions. We will be in Volume 2 of the math book and on Topics 12 and 13. We are done with the volume 1 book.
Spelling--Our words focus on irregular plural nouns. We will have our test on Friday.
Social Studies--We will continue in our new issue on cloning pets. Science--We will continue on with Mystery Science and working in the material magic unit.
English--This week we will focus on linking verbs. We will have a short quiz on Friday.
