What Have They Done With Our Water?

A Talk with Great Concern for the Scituate Reservoir

April 25, 6:30 PM

Over a century ago, the residents from the now lost villages of Scituate had their way of life taken from them, for the greater good. Today, their lands are submerged beneath, or contained within the watershed of, a supply system which provides two-thirds of Rhode Island's population with clean water. Join filmmaker, professor and life-long resident of the state, Evan Villari, as he shares research for an upcoming documentary film on the true history of the Scituate Reservoir, while drawing contemporary parallels to issues related to water usage. Through a combination of image-based storytelling and personal narratives, this engagement promises to provide concerned citizens with transparent information.
