Fourth Grade News
April 8-12
Welcome to Fourth Grade
It is hard to believe that we are about to embark on our final nine weeks of Fourth Grade. What an amazing year it has been! As we approach the last few weeks of school, please remind your child to finish strong. When we work together, great things happen!
Skaggs Elementary Refurbishment
We are excited to let you know about refurbishment we will be going through soon. This is such great news because we will be getting new flooring, bathroom areas, lockers, paint, furniture, and much more. In order for all of this to be done before the beginning of next school year, we are starting construction this coming weekend. The construction will begin in the fifth grade area. We are fortunate to be able to temporarily house the fifth grade students in the empty classrooms in second and third grade pods. Fourth grade will follow the same pattern once fifth grade is done. Fourth, fifth, and PACE classes are the only ones affected during the school year. We are delighted that our children will get to experience the “new” building soon.
Please know that we are prioritizing instruction during school. You may see boxes on the Open House / Big Art Day, but know that we are not interrupting instruction due to the move. We are thrilled to see the building transforming to be new and improved!
