Children will apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words. RF.K.3

Children will work continue to work on blending, and segmenting syllables in spoken words. RF.K.2b

Children will distinguish between similarly spelled words by identifying the sounds of the letters that differ. RF.K.3d

100 Museum - All 100 Collections should be brought to school no later than Thursday, January 18th. See letter sent home in your child's agenda for details.

100th Day of School - Tuesday, January 23rd Please have your child wear a t-shirt related to the 100th Day. More details coming in a separate e-mail soon.

Super Reader Hero - Friday, January 26th. We will be celebrating all of our Super Hero Reading Powers. Please have your child dress up like a super hero character.

Tacky Day - Wednesday, January 31st.We will be doing an author study on Helen Lester . Please have your child dress Tacky (different colored socks, mismatched clothes/shoes...)
