Read a Thon Begins Monday!!!
Hello parents,
Hopefully, your student has now mentioned that the READ A THON starts officially on Monday, February 26th. This past week, students logged into their Whoos Reading account during their library class. The school-wide reading goal for this four week event is 400,000 minutes and $10,000.
Now it's your turn, we need your help to authorize your child's account and we need your sponsorship.
THIS YEAR, Lafayette is donating a portion of the funds raised to help rebuild a library that was destroyed during the hurricanes this past Fall. Please help support your students and the Jose Santos Quiñonez school in Puerto Rico for this great cause. Any questions please email Jennifer Bankert at jennifermtopper@hotmail.com or bethkneebone@gmail.com.
