WINTER GUNN COUNSELING NEWSLETTER
12TH GRADE
WELCOME TO 2ND SEMESTER
Graduation is a little less than 5 months away, and the counseling department is here to help you make this final semester of high school as enjoyable and memorable as possible. Please don't hesitate to reach out to your counselor with any questions, concerns, or exciting news to share!
ACADEMIC STANDING
Counselors are currently reviewing first semester transcripts and the graduation status of each senior. If we discover any credit deficiencies that may affect graduation status, we will notify you. As a reminder, while a grade of a "D" in a class satisfies high school graduation requirements, most colleges require a grade of "C" or better for college entrance requirements.
If you are unsure of your graduation status, or would like to review your schedule in light of your college goals, please contact your counselor.
Counselors will begin uploading Midyear Transcripts to all colleges the week of January 20th
