VMMS Weekly Newsletter

November 15

Good evening Viper families,

Good evening Viper families,

This week is Red Ribbon Week at Vista Magnet! Red Ribbon Week activities will occur all week from November 16-20 to promote a healthy and drug free lifestyle. We will also have themed dress-up days each day of the week, see the Red Ribbon Week flyer on our school website at vmms.vistausd.org. Monday’s dress up theme is: “Life is a journey, travel drug free,” so dress up like a tacky tourist!

Virtual families - This week we have a Materials Pick-Up Day on Wednesday, November 18th. All Virtual families are invited to come get school materials and packets provided by your teachers. Please see your appointment time on the flyer on our school website, and please note that no live class meetings will be required for Virtual students on Wednesday.

Parents and students - It is the time of year when we reflect on what we are thankful for and take time to share kindness with the people who mean the most to us. We would love to hear your messages of thanks and gratitude towards our very hardworking teachers and staff at VMMS. Please use this link to share messages of thanks, positive experiences, and stories of teacher and staff dedication this year. We will share these positive messages with our staff in the coming days and weeks as a gift of thanks for their very hard work through challenging situations this year.

Students - remember that your IB Awards Pin Designs are due this Wednesday 11/18. Please see full instructions in your Advisory presentations, and contact your Advisory teacher with any questions.

Thank you and have a great evening,

Vista Magnet Middle School
