Announcement: This will be my last week of full time teaching. Beginning next Monday, Mrs. Chapman will be leading literature while I continue to teach grammar and vocabulary. By the end of next week Mrs. Chapman will be the lead teacher once again, and I will be observing and grading.
Literature: We are continuing our study of Huckleberry Finn. This week we are focusing on the friendship between Jim and Huck, and the effects of this friendship on each character. Friday will conclude the unit with a RAFT writing assignment that your student will complete.
Grammar/Vocabulary: Vocabulary test will be on Friday, and please remind your student to write their required five sentences. We will also be focusing on subject verb agreement for our grammar topic this week.
