Cell Cycle
Terron Dixon and Colbie Brazell
Interphase
Interphase takes up 90% of time in Cell Cycle. It is divided up into 3 sections: G1- growth, Synthesis-the DNA is replicated, and G2- prepares for mitosis
Mitosis
Mitosis is the process by which the cell makes 2 daughter cells. There are 5 cell process. Prophase, Metaphase, anaphase, telophase, and cytokinesis
Prophase
Mitosis begins, nucleus and nuclear membrane begin to disappear, Centrioles begin to move to opposite sides of the cell.
Metaphase
Chromosomes line up in the middle of the cell
Anaphase
Chromosomes pairs separate and the chromatids pull a part
