Sioux City Community Schools Students Selected
Students Selected by Audition to perform in NWIBA HS Honor Band on January 4th, 2020
The Northwest Iowa Bandmasters Association High School Honor Band Festival will be held on January 4, 2020 in Sioux City at the Eppley Auditorium on the campus of Morningside College. A public concert will be given at 7:00 pm. Students auditioned on Saturday, November 9th in Storm Lake for placement in either the Red Band to be directed by Dr. Andrew Boysen Jr., Composer and Professor of Music at the University of New Hampshire or the Blue Band to be directed by Mr. Richard Saucedo, Composer and Retired Director of Bands at Carmel High School in Carmel, Indiana.
Congratulations to all of our students that spent time preparing for the auditions. It is through the process of preparation that we become better. You are all better for going through the process of preparing for this audition.
