Notes from Mrs. Bervert

Buffalos,

Even though next week is our last week of school we have lots happening. A few items of note:

  • Sixth Grade Clap Out- On Thursday, May 26th at 3:15 we will be honoring our 6th graders by doing a Clap Out where we collectively cheer, clap, and celebrate the Buffalos that will be heading to the middle school. Parents of 6th graders you are welcome to join us and I'll send an email directly to you on Monday with more details.

  • Thank You Mr. Towle- Mr. Towle is retiring after 14 years at Berryton in the role of the Behavior Management Program teacher. Staff celebrated him on Thursday night and he will be greatly missed by staff and students.

  • Student Fees- Student Fees are due by Thursday, May 26 at 4:00 pm. Payments can be made online through RevTrak or you can call Ms. Tanya and pay over the phone (785.861.1300).

  • Calling Volunteers for the Field Day Luncheon- If you're willing to assist in our Field Day luncheon for all staff and students please email Mrs. Haverkamp at jennifer.haverkamp@usd450.net.

  • Last Day of School Assembly- We will celebrate 4th quarter key representative, 6th grade Tech Team members and students that completed the William Allen White challenge at 9:30 on May 26th on the primary playground. Mrs. Boyer and Mrs. Stuckenschmidt will also announce our musical for next year. Bring your lawnchair and come celebrate with us!

  • Thank You Sheridan's- Sheridan's sponsored our luncheon for our students that read all of the William Allen White books. We enjoy celebrating the hard work of these Buffalos!

  • State Assessment Scores- Students in grades 3-6 will bring home an envelope on the last day of school that will contain their scores for the state assessment. Students that are absent will have scores mailed to their family.

With Buffalo Pride,

Mrs. Bervert

Thank You Mr. Towle

I am passionate about continuing to learn professionally, and building relationships with staff and students at Berryton Elementary. When I'm not serving at Berryton Elementary I am usually with my husband and two sons. We can be found at sporting events, cheering on Kansas State University, or just enjoying a movie at home.
