We are so excited to partner with Pawsitive Therapy Troupe so that specially trained therapy dogs can visit Davis to support our students. We will have 2 to 4 dogs and their handlers visiting once a month so that our students who need a little confidence boost can read to the dogs. This past Wednesday was their first visit and our students were so excited to show off their reading skills to these very attentive furry friends. Thank you to all of the students, families, and staff that participated in Davis' first One School, One Book. Davis students were so excited to read about Humphrey each night and find him hiding throughout the school each day. We could hear conversations in the hallways and classrooms each day about the book. The series has not been able to stay on the shelves in the LRC as our students can't wait to read about the next adventures that Humphrey will have! We can't wait for One School One Book next year!

It’s time to register your incoming kindergartener for the 22-23 school year! If your child will be 5 before September 1st, you can virtually register your child beginning January 31st - February 25th. Please go HERE to our district website for more information

A big thank you to our student council for thanking members of our school and surrounding community during Random Acts of Kindness week by presenting them with a “Thanks Bouquet.” We appreciate our Richmond students spreading kindness in our community!
