News and updates for families of Inspire students
September 9, 2020
Dear Inspire Families:
As of today, many of our students and families are facing evacuation orders from the Bear Fire. In addition, many families in rural areas like Paradise, Magalia, and Forest Ranch are facing planning PG&E power shutdowns, and wondering if their students might suffer academic setbacks during distance learning.
We want you to know that we are here for you. While we are saddened that we can't provide a safe space on campus, we can work with your family on a case-by-case basis to see how we might support your student.
Please call the office and let us know if your child will need to be absent, either due to an evacuation or to loss of power. We will reach out to teachers to develop a plan to support your student successfully to the end of this first class session and into the next.
Call or email the office for an absence: (530) 891-3090 or lholcomb@inspirechico.org
Call or email Ken Hardy for technology assistance: (530) 891-3090 or khardy@inspirechico.org
