Tiger Paw Early Childhood Center

October 2021 Newsletter

Can you believe that it is almost the end of the first quarter? Tiger Paw students have grown so much in their development these past weeks. Parent/Teacher Conferences will be virtual and will be held between October 18th and October 29th. Your child's teacher will be contacting you about scheduling a time to meet.

We want to continue to thank you all for your patience with our carline and street situation. We are trying to continue to be flexible through the street improvement project and are going to be very excited when all the streets are open again!

The weather will be getting cooler soon so please remember to send jackets or coats when the weather calls for it. Also, please write your child's name in the coat so that if it is misplaced we can get it to the correct owner.

Elizabeth Dawson, Principal

Brianna Kelly, Assistant Principal

Social Worker Corner

Hello Tiger Paw Families!

Safe and Teachable are the themes for our social-emotional groups and Classroom reading for October. We will learn how we keep ourselves safe as we learn, play, and have fun. Some of the books and lessons I will be sharing with our students and classes will be A Little Safety Spot At School & A Little Spot of Patience by Diane Alber, But Why Can't I? by Sue Graves, Listening & Following Directions by @CounselorKeri.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions regarding the lessons or books being shared with your child or if you may need help with finding resources for you and your family in our community.

My email is maryanderson@ozarktigers.org or call me at (417)582-5992.

Mary Anderson, MSW
