What Are Some Common Types Of Bone Cancer?
There are 3 major types of bone cancer there's 1 Osteosarcoma. Osteosarcoma is a cancer that grows in osteoid tissue in your bones. It is also called a tumor that is most often in your knees and upper arm, because of how long your bones are in that specific area. It effect most teenagers and young adults, there's about 400 children that are diagnosed with Osteosarcoma within a year.
Another major type of bone cancer is Chondrosarcoma cancer. Chondrosarcoma cancer is a cancer that began's in artilaginous tissue, which are located in your pelvis. Doctors classify Chondrosarcoma as Osteosarcoma. "Chondrosarcoma cancer makes up more than 40% of primary bone cancer" (Cancer.net).
The last major cancer is (ESFT) which is short for The Ewing Sarcoma Family of Tumors. (ESFT) cancer occurs in your bones but can arise up to soft tissue like muscle, fat, and blood vessels ect. It would be aroung your pelvis, arms. or even your legs.
