Spring AP testing will begin on Monday May 2, 2022. Students who are registered to test should show up to their testing locations on time and be well-rested. This year’s testing will be on the FPHS campus. Students can view their testing date, time, and testing location posted in their AP classrooms, outside the main office, and in the cafeteria. NEW Performing Arts Center!
We are very excited about breaking ground on our new Performance Arts Center! We are in eager anticipation of the day that we can fully showcase the talents of our band, orchestra, choir, drama programs, and so much more!
- Part of the "cost" for a new Performing Arts Center is going to be a little dust, a lot of change, and even a few inconveniences. Please, bear with us as we enter the "under construction" phase starting Monday after Spring Break with an estimated completion date of the start of the 2023-24 school year.
- Student and Staff Parking: All staff and students must park together in the current student parking lot alongside 112th St. The section nearest the tennis courts will be reserved for staff parking. The section nearest the stadium will be reserved for student parking. Students and staff must drive all the way around the school to access the new student/staff parking lot. Please, do not cut through the drop-off and pick-up zone to park. See below for a visual.
- AM student drop-off and PM student pick-up and zones. We were out there during the first week of construction directing traffic. By the end of the week, everyone seemed to have the hang of it. Starting Monday, we will no longer be out front directing traffic. You will be on your own! YOU GOT THIS!
- PRO TIPS: 1) Use your turn signal before coming off 18th Ave into the drop-off/pick-up zone. 2) Use all lanes and pull all the way forward in the drop-off/pick-up zone. 3) Do not go all the way down 18th and turn around for drop-offs. It blocks traffic and disrupts the flow. See below for a visual.
- Main Entrance: The main entrance is no longer accessible. The new main entrance is on the south end of the main building near the student pick-up and drop-off zone.
- Handicapped Parking will be relocated to the stalls in the drop-off zone nearest the new main entrance.
- Bicycle Parking is relocated to the 1400 building (outside the band classroom).
- Pedestrians in the drop-off and pick-up zone will use the pedestrian walkway along the fence line.
- Continue to allow yourself some extra time (10 min) as we all get used to the new system.
- The Performing Arts Center will become the new "face" of the school and will sit where the current flag pole and drop off loop sits.
- As with all construction projects, almost everything is subject to change. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

FPHS Sports!
Boys Soccer is making headlines!
From The News Tribune: "A lot of things have gone right for the Franklin Pierce High School boys soccer team so far this season.
For starters, the Cardinals are back to playing a full soccer season for the first time since 2019. The 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and 2021 was only seven games long (they finished with a 4-2-1 record). This year the Cardinals finally have their opportunity to gel and build chemistry for a full-length season."
