Summer Peak EP LEAD!
Everything you need to know about the Dream See Do platform
Watch Me!
For the first time in our organizational history, we are providing a virtual learning experience and facilitated inner and outer journey for our EPs through different workshops and community engagement on the platform Dream See Do. This is a significant step that AIESEC United States is taking to provide stronger customer experiences to our EPs and to build leadership development throughout our international exchange experiences. The MC has been working hard over the last couple of months to make this happen, and now we are ready to send it your way and let you guys experience it first hand!
Details:
Lead Content: A series of 7 "missions" that EPs complete throughout their exchange. Right now this is built to mirror a Global Citizen exchange. One mission will take place pre-departure, one mission about program logistics, one about the SDGs, a beginning, middle, end, and then post-departure mission.
The Lead sessions are modeled after the AIESEC Journals that were distributed at WNC, and are designed specifically to facilitate the inner and outer journey of our EPs while they are abroad. By doing this, we are also facilitating LDM learning and awareness on these exchanges.
Community Building in the Platform: The platform is built similarly to Facebook so there are lots of interactive and shared learning elements! Each exchange program will be in it's own "cluster", and will be able to see the global posts of the other EPs in their program. (This is a great chance to showcase the global reach of our operations!)
The 6 Weeks for the World EPs will be in the global oGC group, and will also have access to their specific country community that will be facilitated by the Program Managers.
Who Has Access: Every matched EP will have access to the Dream See Do platform. Global Citizen EPs will be added this week, and the rest of the program EPs will be added over the next few weeks.
Do I Get Access? All iXP members will receive access, as well as all oGC and OGX VPs. For now, use the log in of these people to view the content.
How Can I Utilize the Platform in my LCVP Role?
We are embedding our own NPS surveys into the flow of the lead missions so that we can ensure we are collecting data on the quality of delivery from the Hosting and Sending entities. This will be very valuable for your LC, not only to see which LCs have awesome service and TNs, but also how your OGX teams can improve your operations pre-realization.
2. EP Engagement Abroad:
As mentioned above, the platform has a lot of social elements to it, so you can actually track what is going on with your EP as it is happening. You will be able to view the content they publish publicly, and message them directly on the system to check in on their experience.
3. Encourage All EPs to use it!
This is a service that is provided to our EPs and it's a great way to inject extra value in their experience abroad! If your EPs have ever asked you why they are paying $500, if your EPs are eager to learn more and engage with AIESEC, if your EPs are nervous about going abroad alone - you should be encouraging them to really utilize the platform because it provides them a community they can share their experience with and also gives them more bang for their match fee-buck.
