Healthy Mama = Healthy Baby
- The healthier you are, the more you will be able to be there for your little one!
- Self care is hard to fit in, but so important!
Healthy Body
- Food - don't forget to eat!
- Hydration - have water close by
- Exercise - take a walk with baby, try a workout app, dance!
Healthy Mind
- Give yourself time to decompress
- Who is in your support system?
- Watch for Post Partum Depression and Post Partum Anxiety
- Symptoms can include:
- Feeling sad or hopeless
- Feelings of guilt
- Feelings of hurting yourself or your baby
- Changes in eating or sleeping
- Racing thoughts and worry
- Overwhelming fear that something bad is going to happen
- If you think you might be experiencing PPD or PPA, you're not alone! Reach out to your family, Mrs. Carosino, your counselor, or a teacher. We're here to help!

Join us each Friday from 12:00 - 12:30 for the ISWA Young Parents support group! Come meet other ISWA students who are pregnant or parenting, and take some time to decompress!
