Have you met Crishelle? If you have been in our "Comfort Corner" during lunch time, you may have met our nurse's assistant. Crishelle is a student from Howard who is doing an internship at FSMA. She spends 2-3 hours in our school each day. She has been busy observing our nurses, helping with our lunch program, and most recently she developed a unit on dental hygiene for our Kindergarten and 1st grade students. She is always smiling and the children really enjoy working with her. We appreciate her positive spirit and the many contributions she is making to our school! | Interested in Becoming a Reading Assist Tutor? FSMA is building a team of Reading Assist Tutors to help support our children as they build their reading skills. Research shows that up to 20% of children struggle to learn to read. Becoming a Reading Assist volunteer is an incredibly gratifying way to help children build these necessary skills. Reading Assist will provide the training needed on Wednesday and Thursday mornings beginning in late January. That means that you will now be charged for breakfast and lunch accordingly. Well, it only took until December but our MealsPlus System is finally up and running. That means that you will now be charged for breakfast and lunch accordingly.
