*Cancer is a big problem because lots of people dye from it every year.

*There are tons of different types of cancer.

*Why I am talking about this is because we can prevent it! Right after I tell you a couple things I know about Cancer.

*At Ku Cancer Center, Penny Rushing was a country girl, who loved the outdoors.

*But less than a decade ago she suffered and nearly died from Leukemia.

*Until a woman she didn't even know who lived in her own town, ended up as a match in the "National Marrow Donor Program".

*“Lifetime Risk of Developing Cancer: Approximately 40.4 percent of men and women will be diagnosed with all cancer sites at some point during their lifetime, based on 2009-2011 data.”

*“Prevalence of this cancer: In 2011, there were an estimated 13,397,159 people living with all cancer sites in the United States.”

Preventing Cancer

*There are tons of ways you can prevent Cancer even if its just going around asking people to donate.

*And if there is ever a fundraiser for cancer or like a running for Cancer go to them and participate because they end up being really fun and you feel really good in the end.
