I am so very excited to write this first newsletter to you. One of my primary tasks over the couple of weeks will be to ensure our Shorewood students, staff, and families are supported as we launch school virtually. This is a highly fluid time with our leaders at Central Office making very important decision about how to most effectively and safely run school. They will continue to be the primary source of information regarding any district-wide decisions. Principals have been receiving updates and those will be coming more frequently to aid us in our site-based planning. As I receive information pertinent to Shorewood, I will be using this newsletter as my main form of communication. However, I will also be active on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram as I know these are handy ways to receive information. Watch for updates soon! If there are special announcements that cannot wait for a newsletter, we will utilize "School Messenger" which sends e-mail blasts to family e-mail addresses listed in Infinite Campus. So, this is a good time to remind you to make sure all of your information is updated in Infinite Campus. If you need support with this, please contact the main office after August 14th.
