December 2020 Newsletter

A note from Mrs.Soccio

Families, thank you for your continued support in your child's education, whether it be in person or distance learning. I know times are challenging and appreciate all your efforts. Teachers are finishing up assessments and units as they prepare report cards which will be sent home the week of December 21st.

A friendly reminder, parent teacher conferences are on January 5th and 7th. Conferences will be held virtually from 3:30pm-6:00pm on Tuesday and 5:30-8:00pm on Thursday. Please click below to complete the Google Form for Parent Conference sign ups. You will need to check off your top 3 choice times. The week before, your child's teacher will send a Zoom link for the conference. Mrs. Pagliarini will sort the responses and assign families a time. Please contact the office with questions.

Wishing you all a wonderful and safe holiday season.

Please reach out with questions or concerns at any time. Happy December!

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble from our Kindergarten friends. Students decorated turkey hats to wear before Thanksgiving and discussed what their favorite Thanksgiving dish is. Students enjoyed listening to Thanksgiving stories read aloud by their teachers. Alexander was a star student this past month in Miss Deguilio's room.

Students in Ms. Caldarone's class read Turkey Trouble by Wendi J Silvano. Then students disguised their own turkey so that they wouldn't be eaten. I love how creative each student was in his or her creation.
