Halloween Party Information
Information on Halloween Costumes - Please encourage your child to choose a costume appropriate for school. Please refrain from using costumes with blood, gore, weapons of any kind, and full face paint. Masks are not allowed for safety purposes. Students do not wear costumes to school, but should bring them in a bag. Please be sure bag and costume are labeled with your child's full name.

PBIS Update
Some Friendly Reminders :)
Children may be dropped off starting at 8:15 am every morning. Students must exit the vehicle unassisted on the curb side only between the two crosswalks. Please proceed with caution through our drop off area. If you need to enter the office with your child for any reason, please park first and walk your child in. If you arrive after 8:35 am, parents must walk children in to the office and sign them in. These procedures are in place to ensure the safety of all.
PICK UP INFORMATION
Please enter the buildings at 3:15 pm to sign out and pick up your child. If you will be picking your child up every day, please make sure to complete an after school care form and submit it to the office. For occasional pick ups, the office must be notified before 2:15 pm. Elementary - 8477405321/ Primary- 8477405320 Thank you for cooperation.
PARENT VISITORS
Please remember to check into the front office when you are visiting our schools. The office will scan your driver's license and give you a visitor's pass.

Yearbook Cover Contest
CALLING ALL ARTISTS!!!
It’s that time of year! The Big Hollow Primary/Elementary Schools’
Annual Yearbook Cover contest! All students from Pre-K - 4th grade are encouraged to get creative and design a cover for the Primary/Elementary 2017-2018 yearbook!
All teachers and students will then have a chance to vote on their
favorite student drawn cover for our upcoming yearbook. The top 10 entries,
decided by the yearbook coordinator, will then be voted on by students in their
Computer class (Pre-K will vote during their library time) the week of October 27th
. All votes will be counted, and the winner will be announced during
announcements the morning of Monday, October 30th
.All entries must be turned into the office by 1P.M. on Friday, October 20th
.THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS!
All drawings must meet the following requirements...
Drawings must be in pencil (no color) on an 8-1/2 x 11 plain white
computer/copy paper. Designs must be vertical.
Wording must include: “Big Hollow Schools” “2017-2018”, “Reading is Out
of This World” PLEASE DO NOT ADD ANY OTHER WORDS! (PLEASE check
all wording before handing in. Any additional wording or writing that is
unclear/misspelled will not be considered.
Drawings must have an outer space theme.
Clearly print your first and last name and teacher on the top right corner of
the BACK of your drawing.
If it does not meet ALL of the above requirements,
your drawing will not be considered.
Drawings will not be returned once they are handed in.
Students who make the Top Ten will receive recognition with their photograph in
the yearbook! The artist of the winning cover will also receive a FREE yearbook!
