Drop Off and Pick Up Needs Your Help!

I would just like to remind parents that are dropping children off at the side of the junior high, (parent loop) to please pull all the way up. The more cars set to let students out at one time, the easier the process will be.

  • pay attention to cars and children within the loop and the surrounding areas;
  • use your signals/blinker lights;
  • drive down in the parking spots on the side of the building;
  • a lot a little bit of extra time

Thank you so much!

The character trait this week is Perspective

Perspective is also referred to as wisdom and is distinct

from intelligence. People with this strength are sought out

for advice because they see the big picture and can make

sense of the world’s complexity. This strength of

perspective gives individuals the ability to see to the heart

of difficult matters and achieve clarity. Most importantly,

they are honest and behave in an ethically consistent

Parent-child conversations outside of school are a significant way to instill the character strengths vocabulary and ownership in students. Parent virtue: Wisdom and Knowledge. Strengths of wisdom and knowledge are cognitive strengths related to acquiring and using information. This virtue includes creativity, curiosity, open-mindedness, love of learning and perspective.

JH Dressed up for Halloween this year.

Thanks to advocacy from children JH students dressed up for Halloween this year. The costumes were awesome to see. I know I saw some minions, witches, a banana, a 4-wheeler driver, etc..

I did not get a chance to collect many pictures. If you could help me out and have photos you would like to share I have placed a form here.

I am so impressed with the response to this opportunity. Thank you JH children and staff!!
