What to expect when expecting
your baby and you
First Trimester
Baby: At about the first 7-9 weeks your baby has started to develop webbed fingers and toes inside the womb. Your baby's eyelids almost cover his eyes and his breathing tubes will have extended the throat to branches of their lungs. By the end of the first trimester your baby has developed finger prints and their veins and organs which are visible though their very thin head. The baby at this point is 3 inches long. About the size of a peapodand weighs about an ounce.
Second Trimester
Baby: At 20 weeks of your pregnancy your baby weighs about 10.5 ounces now and is about 10 inches from head to toe, your baby's legs are curled up to his torso around this time so measurement is hard to be taken because of your 2nd trimester your baby weighs around 1.5 pounds and is starting to get their long lean look for baby fat. They're also starting to grow some hair.
Third Trimester
Baby: By the beginning of your third trimester your baby weighs about 2.5 pounds. Your baby can blink its eyes and has also grown eye lashes. Your baby should be gaining more baby fat and growing neurons in their brain . At about 39 weeks and ready to enter the world. They're still growing body fat to control body temp. after birth they should weigh in around 7 pounds
