Adapted Community Recreation
Columbia Parks and Recreation offers adapted recreation programs (Adapted Community Recreation), located at Paquin Tower and is designed for individuals with special needs. The program is open to the community. If you wish to participate in any Parks and Recreation activity, yet feel you may need some special accommodation, please call the office.

Adapted Sports
The City of Columbia offers numerous sports to individuals with special needs. Competitions are through Special Olympics, however, competing is not required for participation. When you register, please be sure that your athlete has a current physical and release form. New participants must schedule a New Athlete Meeting prior to participation. To schedule a new athlete meeting, contact Jessica Sida.

Riders on the Orphan Train
This is a multimedia program at the Columbia Public Library in the Friends Room. We'll leave Paquin around 12:30 pm. The program starts at 1 pm on April 6. Please sign up in advance.
Amish trip
A trip to shop at the Amish is scheduled for April 13 at 9 am. Trip fee is $3.00. Sign up in advance and make sure you have a current Rec Card.
Dance at the ARC
Join us at the ARC for a fun night of great music and lots of dancing on April 13 at 6:30 pm. Snacks will be provided. Cost is $5.00 at the door and is located at 1701 W. Ash St. Columbia, MO 65203.
Adapted Bell Choir
Learn how to play the melody chimes on April 16 at 3:30 pm. We'll meet in the lobby of Paquin Tower.
Columbia Mall
Spring shopping!! We'll head to the Columbia Mall on April 18 at 10:30 am. Please sign up in advance and have a current Rec Card.
Saturday Ceramics
The art room will be open on April 21, 11 am-2 pm. Come in and paint or create new projects such as pinch pots, jewelry, and more!
Cooking with Anna
Come join us in the Paquin kitchen area to discuss and sample easy and budget friendly dishes on April 24 at 5 pm. Fee is $1.00.
Pancake breakfast
Breakfast will be served on April 27 at 9 am. A plate of 2 pancakes will be $2.00.
Happy Hour Fitness (HHF)
Happy Hour Fitness is a small group that meets Monday through Friday at 3 pm to be more active. Make sure to ask for Alex!
Unofficial Paquin Movie Group
We're back!! The new, bigger and better T.V. is here! We'll be doing movie nights on Tuesdays at 6 pm.
Adapted Community Recreation Art Room
The art program is a walk-in program, and is open to the community. Participants are free to come and go as they please. The art instructor is usually available at 11 am Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. There is a studio fee of $2.00 for scheduled crafts and to cover craft materials.

- Wednesdays: 11 am-4 pm
- Thursdays: 11 am-4 pm
- Fridays: 11 am-4 pm
