Advisory Council meetings are once a month (usually the first Tuesday) from 6:30pm-7:30pm. Childcare is available for school-aged students through our awesome AlphaBEST staff members. The committee will be meeting only 4 more times this year and will be discussing things like budget, staffing, school programs, future focuses, and more. The main purpose is to advise school personnel and ask questions so we can be transparent about the many layers of supporting each and every student in our school. If you are interested, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
National School Counseling Week (February 4-8)
National School Counseling Week 2019 (#NSCW19) is Feb. 4–8, 2019. The week, sponsored by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), highlights the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems and the tremendous impact they can have in helping students achieve school success, both academically and socially, as well as plan for a career. Take a moment to thank our awesome school counselors, Mrs. Vaneman and Mrs. Schenck, some time this week.
