STUDENT OF THE MONTH-GABRIELLE BOGGS
The Science and Math Department is proud to recognize Ms. Gabby Boggs as our student of the month.
Gabrielle Boggs is an excellent example of who a BGMS student should model themselves after. She is respectful, kind, hard-working, and prides herself on her academics. Gabby has an intelligent sense of humor and has a real maturity about her. She is a leader in the classroom and does an excellent job as a group leader. She is diligent and detail-oriented, often turning in the best work in her class.
Gabby is not afraid to be vulnerable. If she is wrong, she admits it without much hesitation. She has a wide range of interests and tries her hand at all sorts of things. Having taught Gabby science her seventh-grade year, I was more than thrilled to see her name appear on my roster for eighth grade.
One thing Gabby does to be successful is prepare herself for the work that she’s assigned by taking notes, annotating, highlighting, and asking questions. Her hand is usually the first one in the air when a question is purposed even if she is not confident in her answer. She tries anyway.
Gabby is the type of student that reminds you of why you became a teacher and it is so rewarding having her in class. We will all be sad to see her go at the conclusion of the school year because there is only one Gabrielle Boggs and she is exceptional. Expect great things from this Hornet.
Gabby Congratulations and thank you for being a positive leader at Beech Grove Middle School.

SCHOOL HERO - MRS. LUX
Mrs. Lux works so many extra, long hours at home to make sure all of the students and teachers have what they need to make their class/day run smoothly. She always goes above and beyond to help out whenever needed in the office no matter how busy she might be without any complaint.
Mrs. Lux creates and prepares all of the ISucceed lesson plans each week. She makes sure the lessons are creative, fun and helpful to the students. Mrs. Lux created and designed the Mindful Moments Room for any student who needs to take a break throughout the day.
Mrs. Lux is the proud owner of Gracie, our school therapy dog. She has taken and paid for a year of training classes so Gracie can be certified to be the middle school therapy dog. When Gracie recovers from surgery, she will be back walking our halls with Mrs. Lux.
Thank you Mrs. Lux for always going above and beyond for our students and staff!
